OBSERVATION

Yesterday I observed a kindergarten child to go for my homework. I went to my old kindergarten and I missed my school too. When I was observing the child I was a little difficult because it was impossible not to watch other kids. Education begins first at home but I had seen kids that were not. After the parents grow unconsciously their children they send them in school. The children are 3, 4, and 5 years old in class. Most children were problematic. Mother and father give wrong education and teachers are experiencing difficulties. I witnessed it yesterday. The teacher was saying “sit, not do, not run etc.” that she did not activity and lessens. Children were spoiled and do not listen the teacher. I observed the child who 4 years old. He spit his friends and does not know how to share. If the parent is interested with their child they will differ the child’s behavior would help to fix. According to the teacher told the child started school for the first time his development were worse but he have little process. There was a boy of 6 years in the classroom. Child’ some development is not complete and has not been sent to the first class. For example child painted a picture which have impure lines and brought his teacher and I asked that what is this? And say me that it is chair. When I talk to teachers that they stimulate the child's family, but my child is not sick of the family also said they do not accept. the teacher is doing his part but the family do not accept nothing to do.

SOCIOLOGY EXAM

I had a sociology exam on Friday. I had been started working exam a week ago. The teacher said that he would be tested. The teacher's lecture notes have put a Gmail page. When I look at the notes I found the book’s test questions. I thought that he knows if these questions are put here and I solved them.
I was surprised at the exam event. The teacher gave my exam paper and I looked at the paper in 5 or 6 questions, I had the same problem solved on the internet. After I marked one by one I clicked on a question. I started thinking that what is quantitative Turkish meaning? Is it nitel or nitel? freedom to use dictionaries in exam. I had dictionary in my lap and I did not look at it to come to my mind. After I was thinking for a long time I marked the wrong answer. After the exam I noticed that I marked wrong when I was looking at my paper and my dictionary still did not come to my mind. When I was thinking the exam the next day I come to my mind why not look to the dictionary. I was so excited that even the dictionary on my lap that I could notice the next day. Previously I had solved the same questions was identical and this situation had made me happy but my happiness turned to excitement and I forgot the dictionary. I am always careless in exams because I am excited.

CREATİVE DRAMA

I take elective lesson which is creative drama in this semester. It is very funny, favourable and good lesson. I learn new things and do new activity every week. This week we made the hot seat (sıcak sandalye) which is activity and victim was me. Before I did activity I enacted the child’s role. After I sat the seat my friends sat in front of me to ask the questions the child to recognize and his state of mind to solve. I answered without thinking as improvisation. My teacher says that the hot seat activity is being done in the schools. For example history teacher sits the seat in front of the students and say that I am Fatih Sultan Mehmet and you ask me all types of questions. He/she answer questions in this role. This method produces a more memorable. Especially this activity is more beneficial for children who do not like history. It attracts the attention of them and encourages learning. If there are teachers who use these types of activities children are very lucky. It has not inert idea and is more memorable. I wish I had teachers like that. I think all teachers should receive such education.

COUNSELING

I heart that people provide psychological counseling at school and I wanted to take advantages. After I applied I learned that fourth grade students who study guidance and psychological counseling give consultancy. This is a practical lesson in fourth grade that I learned to do it. They gain experience and it will benefit them in future.
School is also taught me such a practical lesson would be very happy because it is really important to gain experience. I see the benefits of receiving counseling. I did not talk with anyone expect my school’s guidance counselor up to this time and I talked with guidance counselor not enough for me. I feel I'm getting counseling would be helpful to me. Counseling gains awareness for me. It helps me to realize my negative thoughts and it is other positive affects. Now I am learning and observing how to act and that I need to talk. This situation is benefit for me because in fourth grade I will not have difficulty.

LISTENING

I learned how important to listen in human relations and communication lesson. We must not judge people without listening. For example your boyfriend did not give flowers in Valentine’s Day or Birthday. You can not get angry. You must ask his why you did not receive flowers. We must learn to understand each other to listen. We usually do without listening to extrajudicial killings. If your boyfriend gives you flowers, throw it away would not care about it again he does not want to receive flowers. We must attend our behaviors. There is a reason for everything but often does not notice it. If our expectations are not realized, we get nervous or angry. I notice that I often do similarly. My boyfriend immediately does not respond to my messages or not call and I would sulk and get angry but I know that you are working. I react, so I do not realize my expectations. For example we will meet on Friday and he will not come because he will need to go somewhere else, and I am angry, crying because my expectation did not come true. I will now behave more carefully, I will listen to him and I will behave better understanding. Finally I also apologize to him because of my behaviors.

EDUCATION

When I heard saying the teacher I was shocked. We do not give inert idea for children because we put down students' thinkig. We guide creativity for the development of children. First teacher try to impose information but the second teacher is right because he/she wants to develop creativity of children. Memorization is not true education because students are used to ready information and they do not develop themselves. We only guide them. In the school my teachers gave me inert idea and I used to memorization education and ready information because they teached me this. I am trying to change my opinion and teachers should avoid rote education to be helpful to children. I am in difficulty in university and I do not want other children to live. Teachers direct that student encouraged to think.

WEEKEND

On Saturday I met with Aylin (in front) who is my high school friend. We rendezvous in Bakırköy train station and went to Zeytin Dalı café. She looks very upset. Her boyfriend does not understand her. When she was making account of problems, I remembered my teacher who gives information by perception in human relations and communication lesson. We impress our opinions people’s perception. When I said this thinking, my friend granted me right. Aylin noticed that her boyfriend had settled to talk with her perception of fear. There was no need to fear anything because he loves her.
After Aylin relaxed a little more, we went to capacity to meet with Selin who is our high school friend. We sat together in one place after dinner and talked. While we were talking, Selin strike upon an idea and we went to look engagement dress. There were many beautiful dresses and I tried one. I tried one and my friends admired me too but it is very expensive. We looked round other shops and Selin tried another one. We moved just for fun after I come home. I had a good day because I noticed that I learned how useful the information in school.
